The name Hanatzeb is a mixture of the names of my three children, Hana, Nathan, & Azeb. Hanatzeb is a gallery that primarily promotes painting by Ethiopian artists but also open to accommodate painting by any artist regardless of their origins.
Hanatzeb Gallery was first opened in 2010 in Atlanta, GA, located at the art district in Buckhead by bennet street. However, because of lack of sales and other circumstances we had to close our door after only about a year and half. Although we lost our physical address, we have been active online through our website and also by giving exhibitions in collaboration with other galleries.
After being a little quieter for the past year we are getting back online and with new inventory that we hope will attract our diehard supporters. Please enjoy yourself with our colorful paintings which depict our ancient tradition and don't hesitate to contact us if a painting or two catches your eye.
